Well here is the third post of the week, and here is a post on the third member of our family.

Simon Lee (Bitty)

Simon's birthday is October 6, 2007. We met him at the Atlanta Humane Society, in the cat room. We had gone thinking about getting a sister cat for Earl. Simon was almost the last kitty we looked at. When we asked to see him, the volunteer who was helping us happened to be his foster mom. We found out his mom was a feral (wild) cat, who had given birth to three

kittys there at the shelter. That volunteer took Simon home, who was the runt, and was not very healthy as a baby. She had bottle fed him and had loved him for the first four months of his life. She was a bit hesitant to let him go. He had only been placed in the cat room, ready for adoption, 10 minutes prior to us asking about him.

Well of course we ended up taking him, and loving on him. He was still very, very small, and had a small heart mummer (that has since closed up). He is the biggest cuddlier in the house. He is
on my lap as I type this. He learned soon not to

put up with any crap from Earl.

Now as stated above he is the biggest cuddler in the house. Probably has the loudest purr I have ever heard in a cat. He is very small, topping out at 6 lbs...when he is lucky. He has really crazy looking eyes, big and green. He climbs on everything that he can reach, and is very curious. He sleeps wraps around my head on my pillow at night. When he wants attention he lets you know by running up to you and getting up on his hind legs. Raising his hands high he will meow until you pick him up and carry his around. He fights with Earl, probably too much, and wrestles with the girls. It is super cute how they all get along.

We are so lucky to have him in our lives. He added to the family in a way no other animal could. Bitty we love you!!

****SIDE NOTE*****

Today I went to my regular doctor to have her look at two large lumps that have appeared under my arm pit. The doctor was able to conclude that there are two masses under my arm. We are in hopes they will disappear from the antibiotics I will be taking for the next week. The only health thing is that my left armpit is swollen and my muscle hurts. Because of the swelling and the hurting the doctor feels confident that this has to be some sort of infection. We will be able to tell more in a week after I have taken the medication. I will keep y'all posted, and of course we still have Lucie's story coming up this week!
