Lucie!!

Well the fourth and last edition (so far) of the Larkin family is our baby:

Lucie Marie Larkin

Lucie's estimated birthday is June 26, 2008. We found her at the Atlanta Humane Society in September of last year. After buying our beautiful purple h0use we watched Lola play in the backyard and then decided she needed a friend. The crazy part about finding Lucie was she was in the exact same kennel as Lola was, and they looked identical (when Lola was that small). Lucie was labeled as a terrier mix (same as Lola), and was very low key and drugged up.

We felt immediately that she had to be Lola's sister. We took her home that day. Her other siblings soon grew used to her hyper behavior, and we learned again that puppies chew everything in sight. Lucie is still a baby, not even a year old yet. She is much smaller than Lola, topping out at 15 pounds. He brown sporadic spots are so cute. She is also possibly the most photogenic, and loves the camera. She has a very quirky attitude, and loves hording all of the toys in the house

She has hilarious routines. She walks with her front legs way out in front of her, as if she were blind. She is not blind. She flails her hands around. She loves to jump on her back legs like she used to be in the circus. Her and Simon probably play the most, and Simon normally beats her up. Lucie is like me and seems to be cold all the time. She will seek out any strip of sun in the house to lay in it, and she shivers at night to make us feel bad so we let her under the covers. If we let her she would be under the covers all the time. The two girls love each other, and can been seen cuddling quite a bit. We love Lucie and are so happy she has joined us!!

***Health Update***
Still taking the antibiotics. The only side effect I seem to be getting is a super upset stomach. It is annoying. I still have the two lumps under my left arm, and the swelling over there has gone down but the two lumps are the same size. I have another lump under my right arm, which is becoming more and more swollen by the day. I will be calling the doctor on Monday to let her know a new one has come up. GRrr...still hoping they all just disappear.
